After years of working in the hospitality industry, it was time for a new challenge that better matched my studies. During my minor in tax law, I therefore started working at Poundwise. Poundwise was the ideal place to be able to further develop myself in the tax field during my busy studies. The flexibility made it easy to combine working and learning. At the end of my Master’s degree in tax law, I was able to develop myself from the work-study to junior tax consultant. What I enjoy most about my work is the contact with clients. It gives me a satisfied feeling when I can help people with my tax knowledge. I am very eager to learn and that makes tax work very challenging because of the complex issues. As a result, every working day is different and that is what I like about it. Besides the work itself, I really like the team and the informal working atmosphere at Poundwise, which is why I quickly felt at home and I enjoy going to work every day!
