After years of working in the hospitality industry, it was time for a new challenge that aligned better with my studies. Therefore, during my minor in Tax Law, I started working at Poundwise. Poundwise was the ideal place for me to further develop my skills in tax matters while managing my busy study schedule. The flexibility allowed me to effectively combine work and learning. After completing my Master’s in Tax Law, I progressed from a working student position to a junior tax advisor. What I enjoy most about my work is the client interaction. It gives me a sense of fulfillment when I can assist people with my tax expertise. I am very eager to learn, which makes working in tax particularly challenging due to the complex issues involved. This means every workday is different, which is what I find so enjoyable. My next step is towards financial planning; at Poundwise, the learning never stops! Besides the work itself, I appreciate the team and the informal work atmosphere at Poundwise, which makes me feel at home and eager to go to work every day with joy!
