Fleur Slaman has helped me every step of the way, answering my numerous questions promptly, giving me clear info about the buying process, the mortgage choices, insurance choices and taxes, plus the ground lease purchase. She also helped me find an excellent makelaar at short notice and worked with the notary to review some of the documents in Dutch, pointing out where I need to pay attention. As a result everything went very smoothly. I hesitated about using a financial advisor in the first 6 months of my house search, but it really helps to speed things up if you have a good advisor prepping you with all the information you need to make decisions.
